Your new role We are seeking an enthusiastic and suitablyexperienced person for the role of Chief Information Officer(CIO). This is a Fixed Term Full Time appointmentfor 5 years. Responsibilities leading thetransformation and modernisation of ICT within HSS and the WAhealth system, and contributes to the strategic direction andmanagement of HSS; leading and managing theICT Business Unit to provide a WA health system-wide ICTservice, which delivers a modern, secure, integrated anduser-friendly ICT platform for public health care services inWestern Australia; leading and transformingWA Healths cyber security vision and strategy to protectdigital and physical assets; and leading theimplementation of a portfolio of critical digital changeprograms/projects across the WA health system through theapplication of high-quality leadership, best practice deliverystrategy, program design, stakeholder/change management andprogram governance; developing and definingthe WA health system''s technology priorities and landscape forICT and information management, including but not limited tothe planning of WA health system-wide ICT investments, and thecoordination and driving of major ICT programs, and theoperation of the WA health systems ICT operation.
