We are seeking an experienced and driven General Manager to lead and grow a high-performing business unit within the insurance building sector. This senior leadership opportunity is responsible for business growth, operational performance, financial outcomes, and team development. You will play a critical role in driving strategic direction, strengthening client relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. Responsibilities Leading, inspiring and developing a multi-disciplinary team of Estimators, Supervisors and Administrators Driving revenue growth, profitability and operational efficiency Overseeing financial performance including P&L, cash flow and forecasting Ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and strong margin control Reviewing WIP, claims progress and resource allocation Building and maintaining strong client and industry relationships Identifying and implementing process improvements and best-practice systems Leading business development initiatives and expanding work streams Maintaining high standards across safety, compliance and quality Qualifications Strong leadership capability with experience managing operational teams Proven background within the insurance building industry (essential) Sound commercial acumen and financial management experience Ability to drive business growth and diversify revenue streams High energy, resilience and a results-oriented mindset Exceptional stakeholder and relationship-building skills Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability Solid understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements Proficiency across Microsoft Office systems Current drivers licence Desired Attributes High drive and energy Integrity and strong ethical standards Strategic thinking capability Commercial and business acumen Ability to manage conflict and make sound decisions A commitment to quality and continuous improvement Strong team-building and people development skills Benefits Commercial Influence Play a key role in financial performance, forecasting, margin control and operational efficiency.
