About The Role With continued growth across Australia''s aviation sector, TSA is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Project Director to join our Victorian team. This is a senior leadership role suited to someone with 10+ years'' experience delivering complex airside and landside projects within live airport environments. Based primarily in Melbourne, the role will support a growing pipeline of medium to largescale aviation projects across Victoria and nationally, working with both public and private sector clients. You will play a key role in leading project delivery, mentoring project teams, and strengthening TSA''s aviation capability as we continue to expand our presence in the sector. This is a handson leadership role requiring strong technical capability, stakeholder management expertise, and a deep understanding of the operational and regulatory complexities of aviation environments. Periodic travel may be required to support projects across Australia. Key Responsibilities Include Leading the endtoend delivery of aviation projects, ensuring alignment with scope, programme, budget, and quality objectives Developing and executing project management plans, and actively monitoring costtocomplete and risk exposure Acting as a senior clientfacing leader, fostering trusted relationships with airport authorities, operators, consultants, contractors, and regulators Managing delivery within live airside and landside environments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations Proactively identifying and mitigating project risks, including safety, programme, and interface risks Monitoring and reporting against Health, Safety and Environmental plans in accordance with airport and legislative requirements Mentoring and developing project teams, promoting a collaborative and highperformance culture Conducting regular project reviews, contractor performance assessments, and programme coordination activities About You You Will Bring A strong reputation within the Australian aviation sector, ideally with experience across major airports or complex aviation infrastructure A solid understanding of airport operations and regulatory compliance A minimum of 10 years'' experience delivering projects in live construction environments, including airside works Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or Project Management Proven experience in clientside consultancy or advisory roles A deep understanding of the regulatory and operational requirements of airside environments (e.g. airport protocols, safety systems, stakeholder interfaces) Demonstrated leadership capability, with experience leading multidisciplinary consultant teams and contractor interfaces Strong commercial acumen and confidence operating at senior stakeholder and executive levels A collaborative, pragmatic approach to project delivery aligned with shared team cultures Willingness to travel interstate as required to support project delivery and capability development Why choose TSA Riley?
