Kersia is currently seeking a highly experienced and commercially astute Managing Director to lead its Australian subsidiary. Job Description As Managing Director, you will be responsible for defining and executing the strategic direction of Kersia Australia. You will oversee all aspects of the business including commercial operations, financial performance, team leadership, and compliance. This is a pivotal role that requires a strong blend of strategic thinking, operational rigour, and people leadership. The Managing Director will be responsible for the following: Lead the development and implementation of the subsidiary''s strategy, ensuring alignment with global objectives. Drive revenue growth, profitability (EBITDA), and cash generation across all business units. Manage and develop a high-performing team across sales, operations, and support functions. Oversee commercial strategy across Food & Beverage, Farm, Food Service, and emerging sectors. Ensure compliance with internal policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Foster strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and institutional stakeholders. Collaborate with corporate teams on M&A, innovation, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Successful Applicant You are a seasoned executive with: Proven leadership experience in the food industry, agriculture, or bio-security sectors Strong commercial acumen and understanding of B2B/B2D sales strategies Financial literacy and experience managing P&L and budgets Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills Experience working in a global -matrix organisation A collaborative, adaptable, and field-oriented leadership style Preferred Candidates Core values embraced: Transparency - You lead with integrity and openness.
