About The Role General Manager (Roving) provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across multiple hotel properties within the Group. This position is critical in ensuring operational excellence, delivering exceptional guest experiences, driving financial performance, and fostering team development across multiple hotel properties. Core Responsibilities Strategic Leadership & Business Performance Lead the overall operational strategic direction and ensure alignment with company goals. Oversee financial performance, including revenue generation, cost control and profitability. Develop and implement business plans to maximise room and F&B revenue and overall ROI. Lead initiatives to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency. Ensure alignment of each propertys strategy with Group objectives and brand positioning. Marketing Performance & Effectiveness Review and approve marketing innovations, strategies and campaigns for Rooms and F&B. Work closely with marketing and sales teams to execute datadriven initiatives that drive occupancy and F&B sales. Ensure each campaign achieves the desired ROI. Guest Satisfaction Oversee service quality and guest satisfaction, ensuring continuous improvement across all touchpoints. Promote a guestcentric culture by empowering department heads and frontline teams. Lead regular operational reviews for continuous improvement and compliance. Strategy Planning & Execution Review the hotels products, services and offerings to identify opportunities for operational enhancement. Assess the effectiveness of organisational structure, staffing and management systems and recommend alternatives. Drive execution of approved corporate projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring HODs follow through. Oversee financial performance management, including revenue reporting and cost control. Compliance Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable external laws, regulations and industry codes. Focus on health and liquor compliance, and implement compliance requirements into daytoday operation. Standard Operating Procedures Ensure consistent implementation of SOPs across departments. Promote best practice sharing and facilitate communication across properties. Develop Hotel Management Teams Review competencies and effectiveness of HODs; train, develop and guide the management teams. Plan workforce and succession planning, and support staff development initiatives. Foster a positive work environment that promotes diversity, inclusion and team recognition. Other Duties Other duties, tasks and projects as assigned. Requirements Bachelors Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field. Proficient in English. Minimum 10 years of progressive hotel management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership or GM role. Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking; excellent communication, negotiation and decisionmaking skills. Handson experience in Rooms and/or Food & Beverage management. Experience in contractor/vendor management. Experience leading a large team of staff. Proven ability to lead large teams and manage key stakeholders.
