This is a rare chance to take full operational responsibility for a large-scale, highly automated manufacturing site, leading a significant workforce and playing a key role in driving operational excellence, culture, and business performance. Reporting to the Managing Director - Operations, you will be responsible for the end-to-end leadership of the site, overseeing Production, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Planning, and Safety functions. You will lead and develop a high-performing leadership team, drive operational efficiencies, and ensure the site delivers against financial, safety, and customer performance targets. This role will suit a proven manufacturing leader with strong experience managing large, complex food manufacturing operations. You will bring exceptional leadership capability, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build high-performing teams while driving continuous improvement, cultural development, and operational performance. Key Responsibilities Provide full leadership and operational accountability for a large-scale manufacturing facility Lead Production, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, Planning, and Safety functions Deliver operational, financial, and performance targets including productivity, yield, and cost control Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing leadership team Drive continuous improvement initiatives across operational and business processes Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and quality standards Partner with senior stakeholders and executive leadership to support strategic business objectives About You Proven experience in a senior leadership role such as General Manager, Site Manager, or Operations Director within food manufacturing Experience within high-risk, short shelf-life protein manufacturing environments supplying major retail customers - Value-added and retail-ready meat products Experience managing large, complex manufacturing operations and sizeable workforces Strong commercial and financial acumen, including budget and KPI accountability Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills Experience in highly automated, fast-paced production environments Passion for driving operational excellence, culture, and continuous improvement Whats on Offer Very competitive salary package Full relocation support for you and your immediate family Opportunity to join a globally recognised and growing organisation Long-term career progression opportunities This is a rare opportunity to join a highly respected food manufacturing organisation and play a key leadership role in driving operational success and future growth.
