We have a growing presence in cyber, space and nuclear programs.Tell me about these rolesThe Project/Product Manager plays a critical role in leading and delivering Defence-related projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, compliance with Defence standards, and successful stakeholder engagement. These roles of varying levels involve managing multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with Commonwealth and Defence stakeholders, and overseeing project delivery within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.These roles are based in Williamtown and are full-time ongoing permanent positions.We offer uncapped training and development opportunities as well as other benefits including different leave arrangements including paid parental, study, reserve and volunteer leave.What will I be doing day to day?Lead Aerospace projects through all phases of the project lifecycleDevelop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers in accordance with Defence frameworks (e.g., ASDEFCON, GATE Reviews)Prepare and present project documentation including business cases, status reports, and milestone reviewsFundamental Input to Capability (FIC) integration and coordination through high stakeholder engagement and strong relationshipsManage contract deliverables and ensure adherence to Defence procurement and governance processesFacilitate stakeholder engagement across Defence, industry partners, and government agenciesEnsure compliance with Defence security, safety, and quality standardsSupport integration of capability into operational environments, including training, logistics, and sustainment planningWhat sort of skills do I need?Relevant tertiary qualifications in project management, engineering, or businessProven experience in Defence project management, ideally within CASGStrong understanding of Defence acquisition processes, ASDEFCON documentation, and capability lifecycleExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to manage complex projects with competing priorities and limited resourcesBe an Australian citizen and have an NV1 security clearance and ITAR complianceWhat''s in it for me?Flexibility We like our employees to have the flexibility they need to live the lives they choose.
