This large-scale greenfield development is progressing through its Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS), with early works and execution phases to follow.The project presents the complexities typical of a major gold and copper development in the region:Comminution and hydrometallurgical processing central to gold and copper recoveryRemote location requiring efficient, reliable, and environmentally responsible process solutionsStudy outcomes that must generate a defensible Class 3 estimate and inform execution readinessStrong interfaces across process, civil, mechanical, electrical, and project controls teamsAbout the RoleThe Process Engineer will support development of the process plant design, with emphasis on comminution and hydrometallurgical methods. Responsibilities include:Preparing study-level process flow diagrams, mass balances, and design criteriaSupporting comminution circuit design (crushing and grinding) and integrating test work results into the process flowsheetContributing to hydrometallurgical circuits including leaching, solution purification, solidliquid separation, and reagent managementPreparing preliminary equipment lists, datasheets, and inputs for Class 3 estimatingAssisting with test work programs and integrating laboratory or pilot data into study deliverablesProviding input into risk reviews, environmental/regulatory compliance, and water management considerationsCoordinating with other engineering disciplines to ensure process interfaces are accurate and constructibleAbout YouWe are seeking a process engineer with:Experience in gold, copper, or similar metals processing, including comminution and hydrometallurgyKnowledge of crushing, grinding, and leaching systems, and how they affect downstream recoveryPrior exposure to PFS/DFS deliverables for mining or metallurgical projectsAbility to prepare defensible process documentation and design inputs for estimating teamsAwareness of regulatory/environmental factors relating to leach reagents, effluents, and tailingsStrong collaboration skills across multi-discipline study teamsRoster & ConditionsMonday to Friday, based in Perth or BrisbaneHours: 40 per week plus approved overtimeInitial 12-month contract, aligned with DFS deliverySeniority levelMidSenior levelEmployment typeContractIndustriesMining and Oil, Gas, and Mining #J-18808-Ljbffr
