Guided by our Christian ethos and the principles of Catholic Social Justice, we are committed to inclusive service delivery and proudly welcome employees and clients of all religions, backgrounds, and beliefs.Primary ObjectiveThe Service Scheduling Officer is responsible for the coordinated scheduling, verification and allocation of Home & Yard Maintenance services (including contractor delivered services) in accordance with the approved Service Delivery Model. The role ensures efficient utilisation of the workforce, continuity of service delivery, and timely response to client and operational requirements across funded and private services. Working closely with the Service Manager and broader Home & Yard Maintenance team, the Service Scheduling Officer maintains accurate rosters, manages planned and unplanned changes, and supports service continuity, safety oversight and client experience within the Support at Home operating environment.Key duties of this role include:tDevelop, maintain and publish accurate daily and forward rosters for Home Maintenance and Yard Maintenance services in accordance with the approved Service Delivery Model;tAllocate services efficiently, balancing client need, workforce availability, travel time, skill mix, safety considerations and industrial requirements;tManage urgent service requests, weather or equipment disruptions and other scheduling contingencies;tAct as a central coordination point between the Service Manager Home and Yard Maintenance, Team Leader Home and Yard Maintenance, field staff, Assessment and Quoting Officer and Customer Support Officer functions;tCommunicate roster changes and service impacts clearly and respectfully to staff, clients and Care Partners;tMonitor roster integrity and proactively identify gaps, conflicts or inefficiencies, escalating issues where required;tEnsure scheduling practices align with SCHADS Award provisions, organisational policies and employment conditions;tMaintain accurate service records within relevant client management and rostering systems to support billing accuracy;tSupport operational oversight by providing timely information regarding workforce utilisation, service delivery risks and scheduling trends; andtContribute to continuous improvement of scheduling processes, tools and procedures.Qualifications and ExperienceEssential:tRelevant experience in a scheduling, rostering, administration or coordination role within a service delivery, maintenance, community services or customer service environment.Desirable:tCertificate III in Business Administration, Community Services, or a related discipline;tExperience working within SCHADS Award or similar industrial instruments; andtExperience supporting multi-disciplinary or field-based teams.In addition to the above, you will need to demonstrate:tHigh level of problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, operational environment;tHigh level of customer service skills, including the ability to respond professionally to clients and staff under pressure;tDemonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail when managing schedules and service data;tDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and competing demands;tDemonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting;tSound level of verbal and written communication skills; andtSound level of computer literacy, including use of the Microsoft Office Suite and corporate systems.Other RequirementsA current C or CA class Drivers license (QLD) The successful candidate will also be required to demonstrate entitlement to work in Australia, and to disclose any pre-existing injury or disease which may be adversely affected by undertaking the inherent requirements of the position.All offers of employment are subject to the satisfactory completion of relevant screening and background checks, including an Australian Federal Police check, an NDIS disability worker screening check, and attainment of a Blue Card for working with children, prior to commencement.What to Do NextTo apply for this position, please submit the following documents:nYour current resumenA cover letter clearly addressing the key aspects and requirements of the rolen Apply on Kit Job: kitjobau.com/job/38o0a7 Service Scheduling Officer Bundaberg (Bundaberg Central) Catholic Care Central Queensland Bundaberg Central### Reply to this offerImpress this employer describing Your skills and abilities, fill out the form below and leave Your personal touch in the presentation letter. #J-18808-Ljbffr
