Job Type: Permanent position | Full time position Job Description Aumile Hospitality Pty Ltd The Restaurant coffee shop Manager is responsible for the overall management, day-to-day operations, and profitability of Katherine Motel Coffee Shop / Restaurant Bar 100% independently. This includes overseeing accommodation services, the onsite Coffee Shop, Bar, Restaurant, Events/Conference facilities, guest amenities, and staff. The Manager will ensure a high standard of guest experience, compliance with applicable regulations, efficient management of staff and resources, and development of business opportunities. Task & responsibilities An all-rounder who can manage admin and operations 100% independently. Oversee daily operations of the caf and restaurant, ensuring efficient service and smooth workflow. Manage and train a team of front-of-house and kitchen staff to deliver excellent customer service and food quality. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships. Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, increase sales, and optimize operations. Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in the development of menus, promotional activities, and seasonal offerings. Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and overall performance to ensure a productive and positive work environment. Work with the leadership team to track financial performance, manage budgets, and optimize profitability. POS operation. Stock taking and inventory management. Qualification & experience Proven experience as a Cafe/Restaurant Manager or in a similar management position (3+ years). Strong leadership and team management skills, with a passion for motivating and mentoring staff. Excellent customer service and communication skills. In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and supplier relations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost control, and sales forecasting. Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food industry. A positive attitude and ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for both staff and guests. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
