About the role The Victorian Family Preservation and Reunification (FPR) Response is an innovative, evidence-based program dedicated to working intensively with families to reduce the risk of children entering or returning to out-of-home care. We deliver fast, coordinated, and wraparound support that strengthens families and transforms futures. As a key practitioner in our FPR team, you will: Build strong, culturally safe, strengths-based relationships with children and families Deliver intensive assessments, safety planning, and tailored parenting strategies Work collaboratively with partner agencies to create a connected web of support Champion resilience, empowerment, and self-determination for every family you work with Youll work closely with some of Victorias most vulnerable children and young people, including: Families with unborn Child Protection reports Children aged 05 Adolescents aged 1014 with multiple Child Protection reports or orders These families may be experiencing complex challenges such as early Child Protection involvement, disability-related care needs, mental health concerns, substance use, family violence, or their own history of being in care.
