Experience in a microbiology position will be viewed favourably An extra 1.5% superannuation paid on top of national standard rate The Administrative and Laboratory Assistant is responsible for; day to day interaction and liaison with clients, timely reporting of; results, issuing invoices, and resolving customer queries in order to meet the clients expectations. Further, other activities relating to the onboarding of new customers and on-going management and servicing of existing customers as required. This role reports directly to the Business Unit Manager, Eurofins Newcastle. This position supports all functions within the Water Testing BU including but not limited to; Microplastics Testing, Environmental Microbiology, and Mould Testing. The Administrative and Laboratory Assistant role will work closely with other Eurofins entities within the Environment division, in particular the Environmental Sales and BD teams across Australia. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Science / Engineering / Business. At least 2 years working in a laboratory environment, is preferred. Science qualifications and/or university level qualifications, will be an advantage. Good knowledge of standard office applications, especially MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel. General knowledge about systems, IT architecture and production control, will be an advantage.
