About the role Note: This is a hybrid role combining a primary office base in Melbourne CBD, with flexibility to work from home in accordance with deliverables and coordination with your manager. Responsibilities Leading and delivering projects which provide clients with technical advice, strategy development, audits, training, workshops, incident investigation, and reports on health, safety, and risk Providing support to team members, especially on technical OHS matters Designing and delivering highquality management systems and other types of documentation Conducting quality assurance on client deliverables Other tasks and work as required to drive successful outcomes for Work Science and our clients About you In addition to your motivation, enthusiasm, and drive for high performance in a team environment, we''re looking for someone who aligns with the following: Qualifications and experience 8+ years experience delighting your clients, colleagues and onlookers in an OHS role 5+ years practical experience in Construction / high risk industry (e.g. rail, civil, road, construction, utilities, mining, transport, logistics, warehousing etc) Strong knowledge of Australian legislative requirements (across multiple jurisdictions) Highly experienced conducting risk assessments & incident investigations Degree level qualification in OHS or related field Audit experience and qualifications (e.g., OHS lead auditor) ICAM qualifications or experience Training and development qualifications / experience Skills and capabilities Team leader, ensures high performance and achievement of team members, driving the delivery of high quality work for clients Raises issues and deals with challenges from PC or other key stakeholders Manages resources, including staff time, to ensure commercial return against quoted budgets and proposals Tenacious, resourceful and willing to work outside comfort zones to learn and grow Excellent technical writing, reporting and systems documentation skills with excellent attention to detail Strong verbal communication, presentation and relationshipbuilding skills, both internally and clientfacing Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Word and Excel Curious, inquisitive, adaptable to change and capable to thrive in a commercial consulting environment Pragmatic problem solver What''s in it for you Make a meaningful impact that leads to real change in our client organisations.
