OverviewEnaex Brisbane City, Queensland, AustraliaAbout the positionA leadership opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Accountant to join our friendly & supportive team, based in Brisbane (hybrid environment).As our Senior Financial Accountant, you will be primarily responsible for supporting our Executive Finance & IT Manager to complete the accounting & financial activities for our business. In this role, you will ensure our company fulfils reporting obligations to external parties.Core accountabilities include:Maintain integrity of the general ledger and oversee month-end close processCoordinate and prepare group reporting submissions, and reporting to corporate headquarters in accordance with group timelinesSupport external audit process, including preparation of working papers and responding to auditor queriesCompliance with company policies, statutory regulations, and taxation requirementsOperational & Project Support: Partner with the business to assess financial impacts of capital projects and cost control initiativesSystem & Process improvement: Lead initiatives to improve financial systems, reporting automation and process efficiencyAbout the teamReporting to the Executive Finance & IT Manager, you will lead a small team of two (Financial Accountant and AP & AR Officer) and work closely with our Management Accountant.
