The role Reporting to the General Manager NT, the Facilities & Assets Coordinator supports the day-to-day coordination of operations and maintenance for the organisations facilities, assets, and equipment. This role ensures facilities remain safe, functional, and well-maintained through effective scheduling, vendor coordination, logistics support, and maintenance administration. As a key point of contact for internal staff and external service providers, the Facilities & Assets Coordinator plays an essential role in maintaining operational continuity across CareFlights NT locations. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the maintenance and upkeep of facilities, assets, and equipment across Darwin, Katherine, and Nhulunbuy (travel required). Schedule and oversee planned and unplanned maintenance, inspections, and audits across all properties and assets. Support compliance activities and ensure safe use of facilities, assets, and equipment. Maintain accurate and up to date information within the asset management system and act as the main point of contact for property and asset records. Create, issue & record purchase orders and assist with accounts processing. Assist the General Manager & Operations Manager with duties where required. About you To be successful in this role, you will bring: A sound understanding of First Nations culture, society and kinship networks. Experience supporting equipment and facility maintenance activities. Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and meet deadlines. A team orientated and proactive can-do attitude. Ability to confidently drive a manual transmission vehicle. Comfortable working in an active, nondesk based role. High attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Flexibility to adjust working hours when required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Highly Regarded Identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Experience or qualifications relating to Workplace Health and Safety. Experience conducing audits.
