From our Kent Town showroom, we collaborate with architects, designers, landscapers, and homeowners to deliver curated lighting plans for beautiful homes, thoughtful landscapes and refined commercial spaces. We offer a highend collection of architectural and garden lighting, backed by a personalised design service that has become one of the most soughtafter parts of what we do. Were now looking for a new team member who is just as passionate about light, design, and people as we are. About the Role This is a fulltime, designled clientfacing role based in our beautiful Kent Town showroom. Youll work closely with clients and trade professionals to guide lighting selections, offer product advice, and support the creation of lighting plans for residential and soft commercial projects. No two days are quite the same. You might be walking a client through pendant options in the morning, updating a lighting layout after lunch, and brainstorming Instagram content by the afternoon. If you love variety, creativity and connecting with people this role has your name on it. As you grow into the role, youll take the lead on lighting projects from initial consultation through to final switchon. Your DaytoDay Might Include: Assisting clients in the showroom with lighting advice, product selections, and spatial planning Creating and updating lighting plans and quotes (with full training provided) Reading and interpreting floor plans, elevations and electrical layouts Collaborating with builders, designers, architects and electricians Managing phone and email enquiries with warmth and clarity Taking charge of Alleras social media and content (Instagram, Pinterest, newsletters, etc.) Keeping our website and ecommerce content updated and engaging Helping maintain the showrooms beautiful presentation Were Looking For Someone Who: Has experience in lighting, interior design, architecture or electrical/technical sales Is confident reading plans and visualising spatial layouts Communicates clearly and builds authentic relationships with clients Is highly organised, detailfocused and able to juggle multiple projects Has strong computer skills (Mac, Office/Google tools, quoting software) Social media or content creation experience Bonus: Experience with SketchUp, Revit, Vectorworks or other drafting tools Why Join Allera?
