Position Details We are seeking a qualified and experienced Site Supervisor to join our construction team at Palm Lake Resort, Forster. This is a Full Time role, responsible for the day-to-day management of residential building site operations, ensuring homes are delivered cost effectively, on time, and to the high-quality standards Palm Lake Group is known for. Reporting to the Construction Project Manager you will supervise trades and subcontractors, coordinate materials and resources, ensure WHS compliance, and oversee all aspects of construction to meet plans, budgets, and timelines. Responsibilities Effectively manage the building of new homes as requiredSupervise and provide direction to trades and subcontractors onsiteUnderstand and communicate the requirements of site plans and specificationsCo-ordinate ordering, delivery and storage of materialsAuthorise invoices, ensuring work has been completed satisfactorily and deliveries have been received in fullReview all aspects of construction against plans and specificationsEnsure time, quality and budget constraints are consistently metAssist with management of local council requirements or objections where requiredEnsure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with building code requirementsPromote and maintain Workplace Health & Safety standards and safe work practices onsiteManage maintenance requirements in a timely mannerFoster a positive and focused working environment, resolving issues as they ariseReport progress and cost control regularly to senior managementCo-ordinate settlements and handover dates with the sales teamProvide assistance within the resort as requiredPerform other duties as directed by management within the competency of the role What Were Looking For: We are seeking someone who shares our values, Respect, Passion, Community, Impact, and Safety and takes pride in contributing to high-quality community developments. To succeed in this role, you will bring: Minimum 5 years experience in a Site Supervisor role with a residential builder (preferred)Strong residential construction knowledge and site supervision capabilityTrade qualification as a Carpenter and/or a building-related tertiary qualificationProven ability to motivate, lead and manage trades and subcontractorsExperience coordinating resources and managing a high volume of homes under constructionSound understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirementsCurrent C Class Driver LicenceStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to actively participate in and/or manage Toolbox meetingsA positive and enthusiastic attitudeHigh levels of self-motivation, initiative, and the ability to work autonomously Why Join Us?
