Our inhouse South Australian fabrication facility produces buckets for the full range of Liebherr excavators, engineered specifically to withstand the demands of Australian mining conditions. About the Role As a qualified and experienced Boilermaker/Welder, youll apply your trade skills to fabricate and weld Liebherr OEM Mining Excavator Buckets in our modern workshop at Para Hills West. This is a handson role working on large, heavyduty components used in mining operations around Australia. Youll work as part of a skilled team that takes pride in producing high quality work, safely and efficiently. If you take pride in your trade and enjoy working as a team, wed like to hear from you. Skills and Duties Fabricate and weld OEM Mining Excavator Buckets to a high standard. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Perform FCAW welding and air arc gouging. Work to internal OEM and international recognised acceptance criteria. Operate workshop plant and mobile equipment safely. Maintain a strong commitment to safety and continuous improvement. Produce high quality workmanship that meets and exceed business and customer requirements. Work independently when required and as a part of a team. Competencies Essential Requirements Australian Trade Qualified Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication). Experience with heavy plate fabrication. Experience with Flux Core welding (FCAW). Experience working with permit to work systems. Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and the safety of your coworkers! Desirable Requirements Hold a current confined space ticket Scissor Lift (Yellow Card) Forklift and Dogging/Rigging Licences Candidates are advised that a Welding Assessment is required as part of the Interview Process. Those candidatessuccessful in progressing past interview stage will be required to undergo a Preemployment process including National Police Clearance and Medical Screening which includes drug and alcohol testing.
