The role As the Business and Administrative Support Officer, you will form part of a dynamic Finance and Procurement team, providing high-level executive and administrative support to the Director Finance and senior directorate managers. You will coordinate, quality assure and track documentation and correspondence, manage confidential and sensitive enquiries, and oversee diary and meeting management to ensure the efficient operation of the directorate. Your role will be central to maintaining effective business systems, strong internal controls and smooth day-to-day executive support functions. Drawing on your experience supporting senior financial management, you will prepare written communications, draft reports and briefings, and coordinate responses to Ministerial and Parliamentary correspondence. You will also undertake small research projects, gather information to support decision-making, and provide financial administrative support including invoice processing, budget monitoring, expense tracking and procurement activities. Your strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities will be key to your success. You will bring professionalism, sound judgement and discretion in handling sensitive matters, along with the ability to build positive working relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
