Job Description

The Role The Project Planner is primarily responsible for supporting the planning, monitoring, and controlling project timelines to ensure the successful execution of EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) and Operation and Maintenance contracts. This position is responsible for assisting with developing contractual programs, overseeing scheduling activities, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with project deadlines while maintaining highquality standards. Key Responsibilities Develop construction programs, identifying constraints and thirdparty interferences. Daily/weekly/monthly construction programme updates and distribute client facing and construction team 4 and 8 week lookahead programmes Track and manage key design and procurement deliverables against the construction programme key milestones and activities Provide resource histograms and other related scheduling reports and conduct periodic progress reviews against baseline plans and perform trend analysis. Identify key deliverables, milestones, and obligations for the project, defining execution plans and narratives. Compile scheduling data from departments, subcontractors, and suppliers to create a consistent and reliable master schedule. Manage the Master Schedule during project execution, ensuring compliance and progress tracking and provide program updates to identify critical paths and recommend recovery methods. Monitor adherence to contractual deadlines and formulate preventive action plans to avoid deviations Participate in project meetings, collaborating with clients and subcontractors to align scheduling objectives. Develop and monitor KPIs, SPI reports, Scurves, resource histograms, and cost estimates. Assess risks during project execution and implement mitigation strategies. Maintain the technical quality of contractual programs using industryrecognised metrics. Ensure adherence to company Planning and Project Control Procedures, documenting lessons learned. Conduct forensic delay analysis, supporting claims management and event impact assessment. Analyse delay responsibility and discuss concurrencyrelated changes. Skills and Knowledge Must have proficiency in Primavera P6 for resource loading and schedule management. Understanding of contracts, claims management, and forensic delay analysis. Expertise in earned value management (EVM) and cost control methodologies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and reporting skills. Qualifications and Experience 5 years developing the described functions. Understanding of construction and/or electrical infrastructure projects i.e. Bess and Substation projects Advanced Proficiency in Primavera P6 Advanced proficiency in English communication (Spoken and written) Why Join Us?
