The Opportunity Were looking for a Crew Leader to join our field crews working across West and North Melbourne. In this role youll lead a onsite team and play a key part in delivering essential civil works across the water infrastructure space. This is a permanent fulltime role with the chance to build your skills, and the opportunity to develop your career in the water industry. Responsibilities General labouring including site preparation and onsite support Installation of new water pipelines, new customer connections and backfilling Operating stateoftheart plant & equipment Leading a small team of 1-4 crew members Your background may be from one of the following Civil construction or pipelaying Water or wastewater infrastructure Confined space experience and/or Sewer experience is ideal Or you might be looking to break into the industry, either way we would like to chat with you - We value our people and are ready to invest in you, providing all required training! You will bring Valid Drivers Licence OHS Construction Induction Card (White card) Previous experience leading small crews onsite The ability to work on sites across West & North Melbourne Good work ethic and positive work attitude with a strong focus on safety HR or MR licence, excavator or skid steer tickets are desirable but not essential (we can also provide these) To make sure that youre fully fit to join our team you will also need to pass our preemployment medical which includes a drug & alcohol test. Please be aware that these roles may require you to enter confined spaces, successful candidates will be provided with certified confined spaces training if required.
