Genus has been awarded a landmark contract by Western Power for the Clean Energy Link North Region project. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful delivery of major civil and structural infrastructure works on this highprofile project. The Role Reporting to the Civil Package Manager, this role is primarily officebased, with an expectation of periodic travel to site and shortterm sitebased work as required. The successful applicant will be responsible for providing civil and structural technical support, as well as construction oversight, to sitebased project engineering teams across multiple work packages. This includes ensuring that works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications through effective collaboration with the project team and proactive subcontractor management. You will play a key role in collaborating with the construction, commissioning, and project teams to drive coordination of engineering deliverables and support the successful delivery of project milestones. Key Responsibilities Lead and support the delivery of civil engineering works across multiple project packages, working closely with site and project engineering teams. Interpret client scope of works, specifications, and technical requirements to ensure accurate implementation. Review and approve engineering documentation, including drawings, ITPs, ITRs, and construction work packs. Provide technical leadership and proactively resolve engineering queries with site teams. Collaborate effectively with subcontractors to support construction activities and ensure alignment with project requirements. Monitor project progress, quality, and compliance with relevant standards, specifications, and procedures. Support QA/QC processes, including inspections, testing, and the preparation of asbuilt documentation. Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction. Review and validate site progress to support planning updates and progress claims. Coordinate and communicate site, technical, and contractual issues with leadership and commercial teams. About You Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering Minimum 7+ years experience in civil engineering within construction, infrastructure, or energy projects. Strong experience working in multi-disciplinary project environments Proven ability to manage engineering scope and support project delivery across multiple packages. Solid understanding of Australian standards and safety regulations Experience using systems such as MS Project, Primavera, or similar Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently while contributing to a highperforming team If after reviewing this advertisement you feel you are a good fit for the role and meet the listed criteria, please apply.
