Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre is a world leading cancer research, education and treatment centre and Australias only public health service solely dedicated to caring for people affected by cancer. The radiation oncology fellow will divide their time between clinical practice in radiation oncology and research projects, with 0.6FTE allocated to clinical duties and 0.4FTE allocated to research, for an 86hour fortnight. In their clinical role, it is expected that successful candidates will be able to practice as radiation oncologists with minimal supervision. Fellows will also contribute to the academic productivity of their tumour stream, including successful completion of research projects and active participation in other research, clinical and educational activities of the unit. Fellowship roles are suitable for those who are within 5years of obtaining their specialist training.
