You will work closely with internal engineering teams, external contractors and network stakeholders to deliver automation system designs from concept through to commissioning. The focus of the role is on safe, compliant and high-quality engineering outcomes across multiple concurrent projects.DutiesDesign and specify substation automation and SCADA systemsReview and validate automation designs and commissioning activitiesIntegrate IEDs into automation systems and remote access environmentsCoordinate engineering deliverables with internal and external stakeholdersSkills and experienceKnowledge of SCADA and substation automation systems and architectureUnderstanding of IEC 61850 and DNP3 communication standardsAbility to configure automation and control device settingsElectrical engineering qualification or closely related disciplineEligibility for membership with Engineers AustraliaFlexible working arrangements and supportive work environmentExposure to major infrastructure and energy projectsClear technical career pathway and professional developmentStrong safety-first and values-led cultureCompany and cultureVinova are working with a leading business operating in the energy and infrastructure sector.
