Applicants for this role must be Australian citizens.About The Role & TeamAs a Release Manager at SITA, you will be a key player in our software delivery lifecycle, ensuring the smooth and timely release of highquality software productsincluding mobile applicationsacross our aviation and border solutions. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders to coordinate, plan, and manage software releases, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with industry standards.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and manage the endtoend release process for software products, updates, and mobile applications.Develop and maintain release schedules, coordinating with development, QA, operations, and product teams.Engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure release plans meet business and customer expectations.Ensure all release activities are executed according to defined processes and timelines.Support featuredriven development by aligning releases with feature rollouts and user feedback cycles.Coordinate and monitor A/B testing initiatives to validate new features and configurations.Identify and mitigate release risks, ensuring contingency plans are in place.Maintain release documentation including plans, checklists, and postrelease reports.Facilitate release readiness reviews and ensure all stakeholders are aligned.Monitor and report on release progress, issues, and outcomes to leadership.Continuously improve release processes and tools to enhance efficiency and reliability.Ensure compliance with security, quality, and regulatory standards during releases.Champion automation and CI/CD integration to streamline release workflows.Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to ensure environment readiness.Lead incident response and root cause analysis for releaserelated issues.Support change management and communication around releases.Design and govern releases for progressing deployments across Route to Live; enable DevHub and DevOps Processes to support CI/CD.QualificationsMinimum of 8+ years of computer science experience in a development capacity, preferably in virtualization and cloud computing.Experience managing releases for mobile applications (iOS and Android).Familiarity with featuredriven development and A/B testing methodologies.Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies.Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.Experience with release automation and orchestration tools.Excellent organizational and communication skills.Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations and drive alignment.Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Understanding of ITIL or similar service management frameworks.Education & QualificationsUniversity degree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or similar.Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Agile, DevOps, PMP) are a plus.What We OfferWe''re all about diversity.
