We are looking for a Full-Time Yard Hand & Counter Sales to join our trade team at the Kingston Trade store with an immediate start, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday. If you have a passion for customer service, effective communication skills, knowledge of trade and building products, a positive attitude and are willing to learn new things, then we would love to hear from you. This is an opportunity for a full-time individual who must have a current forklift licence or be willing to obtain one. Responsibilities Provide excellent customer service & advice to customers. Keep areas organised, pigeonholes full & areas tidy. Accurately pick and pack timber and building products for customer orders. Collaborate with team members to maintain a streamlined warehouse. Ensure all duties are carried out to a high safety standard. Safely load building materials onto customer or delivery trucks using manual handling or equipment like forklifts. Verify that the correct items and quantities are being loaded based on invoices or pick slips. Secure loads properly to prevent damage during transport. Inspect materials for damage or defects before loading. Requirements Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate picking and packing. Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items and work in a fastpaced environment. Prior experience in a warehouse, bluecollar retail or constructionrelated role is a bonus. Excellent attitude to teamwork. Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
