This is a handson role for someone who thrives on the floor, leads from the front, and takes genuine pride in delivering polished, highstandard service. Berts is a hospitality venue at City Beach known for strong food and beverage, warm service, and attention to detail. Were looking for someone who can help drive consistency, support the team, and play an important role in the daytoday operation of the venue. About the role As Duty Manager, youll be responsible for leading service shifts, supporting the team, maintaining venue standards, and ensuring the guest experience remains consistently strong. This role suits someone who is confident in fastpaced service, understands premium hospitality, and can bring energy, structure and accountability to the floor. Key responsibilities Lead service shifts with confidence and strong floor presence Drive a polished, warm and consistent guest experience Support and direct the frontofhouse team during service Maintain venue standards across service, presentation and cleanliness Assist with opening and closing procedures Manage service flow, reservations and guest feedback professionally Support bar, floor and kitchen communication during busy periods Ensure team members are working with urgency, clarity and accountability Help uphold compliance, licensing and safety standards Support training and development of junior team members Work closely with the Venue Manager and Assistant Venue Manager to execute service at a high level What were looking for Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within a hospitality venue Strong floor leadership and confidence running service Ability to stay calm, composed and solutionsfocused under pressure Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to lead a team A high standard of personal presentation and attention to detail Genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience Strong understanding of service, reservations and venue flow Wine and beverage knowledge highly regarded Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays Work in one of Perths most exciting venues Be part of a leadership team that values standards, service and culture Real opportunity to grow within a qualityfocused hospitality business Strong food, strong beverage, great team and a venue with momentum Competitive salary based on experience If this sounds like you If youre a strong hospitality operator who loves being on the floor, leads well under pressure, and takes pride in delivering genuinely great service, wed love to hear from you.
