Duty Manager The Duke of Brunswick & The Port Admiral Hotel Part Time to Full Time Opportunities Available We are currently seeking two experienced Duty Managers to join our leadership teams at two iconic South Australian venues: The Duke of Brunswick Hotel Adelaide CBD The Port Admiral Hotel Port Adelaide These roles are Part Time transitioning to Full Time for the right candidates, offering genuine career progression within a growing hospitality group. About Us The Duke of Brunswick Hotel is internationally recognised as Australias first 100% glutenfree pub, known for exceptional food, craft beverages and an inclusive dining experience. The Port Admiral Hotel is one of Port Adelaides historic pubs undergoing an exciting revival, with a strong focus on quality food, community events, tourism experiences and premium beverage offerings. Both venues are known for strong leadership, professional kitchens, and a culture where the outside world doesnt matter once you walk through the door. The Role As a Duty Manager you will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day venue operations while leading the front of house team during service. You will work closely with venue leadership and kitchen teams to maintain high standards of service, compliance and team performance. Key responsibilities include: Leading shifts and supervising FOH teams Delivering exceptional customer service and resolving guest issues Ensuring compliance with RSA, licensing and venue procedures Managing cash handling, POS systems and end of shift reconciliation Supporting staff training and development Maintaining presentation standards across the venue Assisting with bookings, functions and service coordination Upholding workplace safety and responsible service standards What We Are Looking For We are seeking individuals who bring energy, professionalism and leadership to every shift. Previous Duty Manager or senior hospitality experience Current RSA certification Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to work calmly in high-volume service environments Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Availability across a 7-day rotating roster including evenings and weekends Highly regarded: Approved RP Experience with POS systems and booking platforms Experience in high-volume food venues What We Offer Part Time to Full Time opportunities Competitive salary based on experience and Award classification Work within respected South Australian hospitality venues Strong leadership support and structured management systems Opportunities for career progression within our venue group Applicants must have permanent Australian work rights.
