Enjoy 5 weeks annual leave Paid on the job training, including Cert III Uniforms, meals and limited onsite parking provided Access 24/7 medical, mental health support, and flexible salary packaging Make an impact at Serco As a Correctional Officer at the Adelaide Remand Centre, youll be actively providing prisoner safety protection and support through dynamic monitoring and respectful engagement while also ensuring the security of the facility. Youll join a multidisciplinary team to provide best practice prisoner intake, assessment, and induction processes. You will support the prisoner transitioning into the SA prison system or release into the community. As a Correctional Officer, youll make a difference by: Ensuring facility safety and security through dynamic monitoring and compliance protocols Supporting a culturally sensitive environment and respecting diversity Supervising daily prisoner activities and management regimes Participating in prisoner intake, transfer, and discharge processes Being a member of the multi-disciplinary team that provides health, mental health and case management services Responding to incidents with professionalism and adhering to de-escalation procedures Promoting prisoner reintegration into the community and ensuring contact with family, community and cultural supports and legal assistance Serco is a place for you If you have the passion, integrity, and determination to create a positive impact, youre exactly who were looking for.
