We have an extensive fleet of passenger vehicles, 4WDs, utes, trucks and buses that we rent to corporate clients, tourists and locals. About the role We require a Casual Rental Sales Officer to join the team as we ramp up to our busy time of the year. As a Rental Service Officer, the successful applicant will be working primarily on the front counter at one of our three Darwin locations, delivering excellent customer service in all aspects of car rental, including enquiries, reservations, sales and administration. Main tasks include: Receiving enquiries and taking bookings over the phone and in person Rent vehicles to our customers Monitoring, tracking and organising fleet Checking vehicles in and out, logging kilometres driven and any damage Informing customers of additional products and services which will assist them with their rental Providing customers with instructions relating to their vehicle and location information Completing accident and damage reports Detailing vehicles if required Providing exceptional customer service at all times Essential Criteria: Willingness to work effectively as part of a busy team, be well presented and demonstrate enthusiasm for the job. An excellent telephone manner. Good verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail. Well-developed time management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines. Ability and willingness to sell. Ability to prioritise tasks, seek guidance when required, but work with minimal supervision. Good Computer literacy skills. Previous experience in a sales and customer service background, preferably within the hospitality and retail industry would be an advantage.
