Byron Bay, New South Wales Full-time Description We are looking for a Diploma Qualified caring, nurturing and creative educator to join Sandhills Early Childhood Centre (Sandhills Early Childhood Centre - Byron Shire Council). Your role will be to deliver quality early childhood care and engage the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework to implement a daily program and routine for children 05 years. The successful educator will contribute positively to the functional operation of the Centre and be a responsible person. You may be required to lead a room with a focus on planning, documenting and team leadership. We Are Looking For We are seeking an experienced and passionate lead educator for our nursery room at Sandhills Early Childhood Centre in Byron Bay. This fulltime position leads the room and educators to deliver highquality care and education for children aged 02 years in a safe, nurturing and engaging environment. Key Responsibilities Colead the nursery room and team Plan and implement educational programmes aligned with the EYLF Support childrens learning, development and wellbeing Mentor and guide assistant educators Maintain compliance with National Quality Standards and service policies Build positive relationships with families and the community Ensure a safe, inclusive and supportive environment for all children Essential Requirements Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care Experience working in an early childhood setting Strong understanding of EYLF and National Quality Standards Leadership and teamwork skills Current Working With Children Check First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification You Will Work with a team of exceptional educators to implement the daily programme in line with the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning framework Receive a salary in the range of $62,121 to $71,977 per annum dependent on skills and experience.
