Employment Type: Permanent Part Time Position Classification: Physiotherapist Level 3 Remuneration: $58.95 - $60.86 per hour Hours Per Week: 14 Requisition ID: REQ634742 Location: Guyra Multi Purpose Service Applications Close: 26 March 2026 About The Role We are seeking a motivated and adaptable Physiotherapist to join the team at Guyra Multipurpose Service. This is a unique opportunity to work in a diverse clinical environment providing care across emergency, inpatient and outpatient settings. As the sole physiotherapist on site, you will deliver highquality physiotherapy services to a broad range of clients, managing outpatient presentations, supporting inpatients within the MPS, and contributing to the wellbeing of residents in aged care. This role requires a clinician who is confident working autonomously while recognising when to seek advice and collaborate with colleagues to ensure safe and effective care. Key Aspects Of The Role Providing physiotherapy assessment and treatment for a wide range of outpatient conditions Supporting inpatient care within the Multipurpose Service Contributing to the health and wellbeing of residential aged care residents Working independently while maintaining safe and appropriate clinical practice Engaging with a broader physiotherapy network for support and professional development Where youll be working Guyra Multipurpose Service is a community focused health facility providing emergency care, residential aged care and community health services to the local population. Although based in Guyra, you will be well supported by the broader physiotherapy network across the region. The nearby town of Armidale, just a 30minute drive away, has a team of senior physiotherapists working across multiple specialties who provide clinical support, peer connection and professional education. You will also have access to guidance and mentorship from the Tablelands Physiotherapy Area Lead, ensuring ongoing professional support despite the autonomous nature of the role. About You We are looking for a physiotherapist who is adaptable, collaborative and comfortable working across a broad scope of practice in a rural health setting. The Ideal Candidate Will Be confident working autonomously in a soleclinician position Demonstrate sound clinical reasoning and recognise limitations within scope of practice Enjoy working with a wide variety of patient presentations across outpatient, inpatient and aged care settings Value collaboration and actively engage with the Armidale physiotherapy team for peer support and development Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team This is an excellent opportunity for a clinician who enjoys variety, values community healthcare, and is keen to develop their skills within a supportive regional network.
