Job Details Job Title: Allocations and Recruitment Coordinator (Administrative Officer 6). Department: Medical Services. Job Type: Full time. Duration: Ongoing commencing 08/07/2026. Apply online: Primary Objective As a member of the Medical Services Recruitment Team, coordinate the recruitment of prevocational medical staff, including Interns, Registered Medical Officers (RMOs) and International Medical Graduates. Assist with induction, orientation and rostering programmes as required. Key Duties and Responsibilities Manage and facilitate recruitment processes for prevocational medical staff, including secondments from teaching hospitals. In conjunction with the Director of Clinical Training and Medical Education Unit, assist with and facilitate induction and orientation programmes for prevocational medical staff as required. Monitor and advise on prevocational medical staffing levels. Provide advice and documentation in relation to recruitment and conditions of service. Provide statistical information in relation to recruitment turnover and service requirements. Provide assistance to junior medical staff to ensure travel and accommodation arrangements are made and process associated payments accordingly. Facilitate and monitor medical board registration for prevocational medical staff. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces. Selection Criteria Essential Highlevel knowledge of government staff recruitment including advertising, processing and contract conditions. Ability to assist in the development, delivery and facilitation of induction and orientation requirements for medical recruits. Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills. Proven ability to deliver quality customer service with basic pastoral care, including the need for objectivity, patience, impartiality and fairness. Working knowledge of government financial processes and legislation. Welldeveloped knowledge of crosscultural communication and interaction. Successful membership of a specialist team, preferably in HR/recruitment. Desirable Knowledge of relevant legislation, including PSEMA, Enterprise Agreements, Information Act.
