We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Safety Facilitator to join our OH&S Team. Reporting into the Head of Safety, you will be responsible for creating a Safety First culture through supporting the development of health and safety initiatives. The role will provide support and coaching advice to the site and business leadership teams in all health and safety related matters. Whats the Scoop? Ensure Bulla is a Safe workplace by promoting a safety-first cultureProvide advice and support to build line manager safety competenceDrive safety on site with the delivery and understanding of toolbox meetings and safety alertsAssist with operational tasks including incident investigations and risk assessmentsAssist with the investigation of any issues identified as a result of audits and day-to-day operational activitiesProvide OH&S support and assistance to develop and maintain traffic management plans, manual handling documentation and ergonomic assessment.Ensure chemicals have been risk assessed and updated in ChemWatchSupport site with Contractor Management activities including updating the Contractor Management SystemFacilitate, review and manage risk assessments in relation to business operationsIdentify appropriate Return to Work duties in accordance with medical restrictions and operational needsAssist and promote hazard identification and identify risk control measures to minimise injury and property damageEnsure all incidents investigations are conducted and documented in a timely manner What Youll Bring: Cert IV in OHS or similar preferredMin of 2 years experience in a similar roleFMCG and manufacturing experience preferredICAM Trained preferredGeneral understanding of Victorian OHS and Workers Compensation legislation and regulationsStrong sense of initiative and ability to adapt to change quicklyHighly proactive, well developed project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesStrong motivational skills with the capacity to positively influence people independently or through teamworkHigh degree of professional ethics and integrityProven ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholdersAbility to prepare detailed and practical meeting notes and reportsExperience with Chemwatch and database systems preferred.
