In this role, youll support the delivery of day centre activities and active supports tailored to individual abilities, strengths, and circumstances. Youll bring strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to manage documentation and program records, and experience supporting people with varying disabilities, including behaviours of concern, while creating safe, inclusive, and meaningful experiences. What youll do As aDisability Day Services Practitioner, youll: Support clients in adventurebased learning, empowering them to push beyond their boundaries. Assist with daily tasks, including personal care, hygiene, and meal support. Promote community inclusion by identifying and facilitating engagement opportunities based on client interests. Encourage client participation in community activities, with support ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:4. Foster physical health, communication skills, teamwork, selfconfidence, and overall wellbeing. What youll bring Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent Current First Aid and CPR certification Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) (Youll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate but dont worry, well help guide you through this.)
