To learn more about our department, our team and the work we do, please visit our website.The Biosecurity Directorate works to prevent or manage the risk from weeds, pests and diseases that impact animals, plants, and the aquatic and terrestrial environments. We are looking for Biosecurity Officers to undertake surveillance and inspection activities of plants and carriers for the early detection of plant pests and diseases which may impact the states agriculture and environment.About the opportunityWe currently have two (2) Permanent L3 Biosecurity Officer positions available for immediate filling in the Perth Metropolitan area. This process will also be used to fill other potential permanent and/or fixed term contact positions at Level 3 or Level 4 in the Perth metropolitan area or regional areas.
