ReachOut are now leading the way in Australian non-profit organisations by creating the Director of Growth, Commercial Investment and Market Partnerships to develop a sustainable and combined approach to income growth through corporate, commercial, government and philanthropic channels to continue the inspirational and necessary work they deliver to all youth communities. The role This newly created executive leadership role is pivotal to ReachOuts ambitious, long-term vision; to become the leading early intervention service for young people and their parents and carers. The Director of Growth, Commercial Investment and Marketing Partnerships will have the opportunity to create a brand new, diversified 5-year funding model to significantly strengthen their diverse funding streams. It also creates the opportunity to deliver the model with the assistance of the team, being hands on in addition to contributing strategic expertise. ReachOut have income targets that can be achieved with the right commercially minded, experienced and strategic Director, working closely as part of the Executive Leadership Team, and directly with the Chief Executive Officer and the Board. A key component of the role will be to lead the commercial strategy, embedding ReachOuts digital mental health ecosystem into corporate environments to support their youth workforce, whilst also driving more traditional, established fundraising streams and continuing to strengthen established government relationships. This role also embraces brand, reputation and marketing and will drive multi-channel communications with a talented team who are highly motivated to succeed. To be successful in this role, you will have the additional following responsibilities and opportunities: Lead a multi-faceted team of commercial partnerships and growth, marketing and communications, fundraising and government relations In addition to the 5-year funding model, you will have the opportunity to develop and drive a growth strategy for the next 2 years to achieve income targets Lead and deliver the corporate strategy for launching ReachOuts digital platforms into commercial environments Build brand and reputation to support organisational growth Be an active contributor to the Executive Leadership Team Lead strategic Federal, State and Territories government relations and advocacy to influence policy outcomes for youth mental health We require a sophisticated and innovative executive who has a proven track record of delivering marketing and income generation to support services and products. Skills and experience As the inaugural Director of Growth, Commercial Investment & Marketing Partnerships you will have the following skills and experience: Extensive experience at ELT level with proven success in a high-growth environment. This could be within commercial, corporate, nonprofit or government focused industries Strong sales or business development DNA a thirst for success, an innovative mindset and the drive to challenge targets and succeed Proven track record adapting to different audiences, markets and industries A high strategic mindset with proven ability to conceptualise, develop and deliver 3-5 year strategic growth plans A solid understanding of marketing, brand and reputational growth Exceptional people leadership skills The ability to cultivate corporate and commercial relationships to drive product success and income growth You must have a strong commercial acumen, proven success driving outcomes and exceptional emotional intelligence, cultivating a psychologically safe and high performing team environment.
