About the Role This Clinical Pharmacist role includes structured training and development into oncology pharmacy practice, where your role goes far beyond dispensing. Youll be a key contributor to complex cancer treatment plans, directly influencing patient outcomes through expert medication management and clinical insight. Key responsibilities Deliver highlevel clinical pharmacy services in oncology, including medication review, patient counselling, and treatment optimisation. Apply advanced professional judgement to complex oncology cases, supporting evidencebased care across the patient journey. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, contributing to a cohesive and patientcentred cancer care environment. Provide expert advice on oncology protocols, treatment regimens, and supportive care strategies. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical governance, and research activities within the oncology setting. Shift information 30hours a fortnight roster. 7.6hour shifts every Thursday and Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm This contract role offers exposure to specialist oncology services and may open pathways to ongoing opportunities within Icon Group. About You Youre an experienced Pharmacist with an interest in expanding into clinical or oncology pharmacy. While hospital or clinical experience is advantageous, experienced Community Pharmacists are encouraged to apply. Comprehensive training will be provided, so dont be afraid to put your hand up for this career changing experience! Essential requirements Pharmacist registration with AHPRA, with no restrictions on practice Australian working rights, valid for at least 12month from date of employment. Minimum 2years Australian Pharmacist experience Personal Indemnity insurance. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and manage interactions with doctors and multidisciplinary teams. Desirable skills & experience Experience in clinical and/or oncology pharmacy. Hospital pharmacy experience.
