About the Role Were hunting for Casual Chefs/Cooks to jump on board at Tracks on Point in Strahan. This is your chance to trade the four walls of a regular kitchen for a backdrop of wild mountains, roaring rivers, and coastal sunsets. Youll be serving up dishes that hit as hard as the views, hearty, tasty, and fuelling the adventures of travellers from all over the world. If youve got the chops (literally) and a flair for feeding hungry explorers, this gigs got your name on it. What Youll Be Doing Cooking up hearty, tasty meals for hungry travellers on our trains and hospitality venues. Making plates look as good as they taste (presentation matters, even in the wild!). Keeping it clean, food safety and hygiene are non-negotiable. Teaming up with our hospitality crew to deliver standout experiences. Running a tidy, organised kitchen, even when things get busy. What Were Looking For Previous experience as a Chef or Cook (bonus points if youve worked in hospitality or tourism). Solid cooking skills across a mix of cuisines and techniques. Attention to detail and commitment to food safety. A team player who thrives in fast-paced environments. Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and a bit of unpredictability come with the territory. Willingness to commit to a minimum of 6 months.
