Foundation Outstanding Volunteer/Advocacy Scholarship is a $500 scholarship awarded to a graduating senior from Howell High School. The foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that helps kids with rare diseases and chronic illnesses. Selection Criteria Student must volunteer and/or advocate for rare disease awareness and support. Student must display optimism and kindness. Student must be pursuing further education. Student must provide access to volunteer hours. Application Criteria High School Transcript. Essay of 250 words or less that addresses the following prompt: Why are you passionate about helping kids with rare diseases and how will you continue your volunteerism after high school?
