The Manufacturing and Regional and Rural Development (MRRD) division drives rural and regional investment, social and economic development, growth, jobs and liveability in Queensland communities MRRD #DeliveringforQueensland! As Manager, Policy and Legislation, you will lead a small specialist team responsible for delivering policy, legislative and strategic initiatives that support Queensland''s regional and rural development priorities. Working within Regional Development South, you will provide authoritative advice, guide complex analysis and support informed decisionmaking across the department. Your work enables effective engagement with stakeholders, strengthens program delivery, and contributes to the longterm prosperity of Queensland''s regional communities. In this role, you will oversee the preparation of highlevel reports, Cabinet material, submissions, briefings and correspondence. You will build strong partnerships across government, industry and nongovernment organisations, negotiating policy and legislative outcomes aligned with departmental priorities. You will support a highperformance team culture through coaching, mentoring and capability development, ensuring staff are equipped to meet evolving demands. Success in this role means leading with strategic insight, demonstrating sound judgement, and effectively managing competing priorities to deliver quality outcomes for regional and rural Queensland.
