Technical Authority: You wont just be a number. You will be the technical lead on highvalue, complex interior packages for landmark developments. Key Responsibilities End-to-End Tendering: Prepare comprehensive, accurate estimates for complex wall, ceiling, door, and window packages. Value Engineering: Use your construction knowledge to identify costsaving alternatives and innovative delivery methods to give the firm a competitive edge. Sub-Contractor & Supplier Negotiation: Leverage your industry networks to secure the best outcomes for materials and specialist labour. Contract Review: Rigorously analyse tender documentation and project specifications to mitigate risk and ensure highmargin delivery. Stakeholder Management: Act as a key point of contact for Tier1 Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors, maintaining the firms "trusted partner" status. About You This role is specifically designed for a Senior Estimator who wants to "hit the ground running." You likely come from a Building Contractor/Head Contractor background and possess: Deep Construction Knowledge: A thorough understanding of how Tier1 projects are sequenced and delivered. Specialist Expertise: Significant experience in interior fitout packages (Walls, Ceilings, and Joinery/Openings) is highly regarded. Commercial Acumen: You understand the "why" behind the numbers, with the ability to spot risks and opportunities in complex contracts. Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in modern estimating and measurement software (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX, or similar).
