We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join our clients team supporting operations at Cadia Mine, operated by Newmont. This role offers the opportunity to work within a high-performing maintenance environment focused on improving fleet reliability, maximising equipment availability, and supporting safe and efficient mining operations. Working on an 8/6 roster, this position plays a key role in monitoring equipment performance, coordinating maintenance activities, and supporting reliability improvements across a large mobile fleet. About the Role As a Reliability Engineer, you will work closely with the Maintenance Manager, planners, and site teams to support equipment performance, investigate failures, and improve fleet reliability outcomes. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring and reporting on equipment availability, uptime, and maintenance performance Investigating equipment failures and quality issues to identify root causes and improvement opportunities Supporting maintenance planning and breakdown analysis in collaboration with planners and maintenance managers Conducting and reviewing oil sample analysis Preparing reports on maintenance KPIs and fleet performance Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimise equipment reliability Site & Fleet: You will be supporting a large and diverse mobile fleet at Cadia Mine, including: Bell B50E Articulated Dump Truck About You: To be successful in this role, you will bring: 3+ years experience in a similar reliability, maintenance, or engineering role Experience working with mobile plant and mining equipment Exposure to maintenance planning, reliability reporting, and breakdown analysis Experience reviewing oil samples and supporting condition monitoring Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively with maintenance and operations teams Roster & Accommodation: 8/6 roster Day shift (6:00am 6:00pm) Travel in: Wednesday morning arrive onsite for 10:00am start Travel out: Following Wednesday depart site at 12:00pm FIFO: Brisbane or DIDO within 4 hours of Orange, NSW Accommodation: Shared housing (typically with one other person) Salary & Benefits Competitive market salary package - For discussion 20% project uplift calculated on base salary (super inclusive) $60 per night meal allowance (approx. $10,500 per year, untaxed) If you are looking to join a high-performing mining operation with strong reliability performance and opportunities to contribute to ongoing improvements, we encourage you to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
