We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Director of Productions to commence Term 2 2026. This is a 3year tenured position of responsibility, with ongoing Secondary Drama Teacher position. The successful candidate will be a dynamic leader with a passion for engaging and inspiring students of all abilities across Years 7 12, with subject matter expertise that can be applied to this position. They will have a track record of excellence in directing large scale school productions and contributing enthusiastically to the broader positive culture of the school. Flexibility and initiative are intrinsic to this role. Industry experience would be highly regarded. Position in Context The Director of Productions is a key contributor to the school, reporting to the Head of Performing Arts. The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Performing Arts, and the Musical Director, to successfully stage the annual school Musical Production and the Middle School Production. This position will have an appropriate time and monetary allowance. The Director of Productions is responsible for: Designing, directing, and choreographing the annual School Musical Production Designing, directing, and choreographing the annual Middle School Production Liaising with Performing Arts staff and key stakeholders Managing and establishing effective team relationships with the production team, students, parents, and community members Creating the artistic vision of these large school musical productions Demonstrating overt support for the Tintern Grammar ethos and School values Please view the Position Description below for a full overview of duties.
