JDR Homes is a leading residential building company specialising in design and construct projects across the North-West and North of Tasmania. This position will be based at our head office in Ulverstone. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to join our Accounts Department. We also welcome applications from trainees looking to kick start their career in the industry. You will possess strong attention to detail, the ability to process high volume invoices with accuracy, whilst ensuring company policies and procedures are followed. You will be a focused person who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment, continually meets deadlines and enjoys dealing with different stakeholder groups both internal and external. Role High volume end to end processing of creditor invoices Timely processing of supplier payments Match construction invoices to Purchase Orders Identify and investigate invoice overruns and discrepancies Reconciliation of suppliers and general ledger accounts Liaising with internal and external stakeholders as required to resolve any issues or queries Assist with month end reporting requirements as needed Assist the accounts team as required to ensure smooth functioning of the whole team Other adhoc tasks required by team leader or manager To be successful in this position you need to demonstrate the following attributes: Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Positive attitude with ability to build strong working relationships across various stakeholder groups Prior experience in the construction industry is highly regarded Prior experience using Wunderbuild and MYOB is advantageous What We Offer Stable, full-time position in a reputable local building company Supportive and professional team environment Competitive salary based on experience Long term career stability within the residential construction industry To Apply If this sounds like the next step you are looking for in your career, we encourage you to send your Resume and a Cover Letter by clicking "Apply Now!".
