4 Days a week / Part-time Ongoing Contract 0.8EFT Role Overview The High Cleaning Assistant delivers highlevel, scheduled cleaning across all Alpine Health sites, including hospitals, aged care, staff accommodation, and community facilities. The role requires autonomous work, travel between campuses, and adherence to Cleaning Standards for Victorian Public Hospitals and infection control guidelines. Key Responsibilities Cleaning Services Highlevel and scheduled cleaning across all sites Detailed cleaning of ceilings, vents, light fittings, walls, and high surfaces Maintain hygiene standards across all facilities Use chemicals and equipment safely Report hazards and maintenance issues Compliance & Safety Comply with Cleaning Standards for Victorian Public Hospitals Follow infection prevention and control procedures Adhere to OHS requirements Maintain documentation Team & Organisational Contribution Work autonomously and collaboratively Support flexible workforce needs (cleaning, laundry, food services) Participate in training and continuous improvement Essential Experience in commercial or healthcare cleaning Ability to work independently across multiple sites Knowledge of chemical safety and equipment Understanding of infection control Victorian drivers licence Strong communication skills Commitment to WHS Basic computer skills Special Requirements Travel across campuses Vehicle and equipment provided Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including working at heights Our Region Alpine Health comprises three multipurpose health services across the stunning Alpine Region of Northeast Victoria.
