As a key member of the Corporate Services leadership team, you will drive the Citys enterprise information strategy and ensure information is managed as a critical organisational asset. About The Role This is not simply a technical leadership role it is about enabling smarter decision-making, strong governance, and organisational transparency through the effective management of information and data. Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Services, you will provide enterprise-wide leadership for the Citys information management, governance, data and business intelligence functions. You will lead a specialist portfolio responsible for information governance, records management, data and analytics capability, and enterprise information compliance across the organisation. What You Will Deliver Enterprise Information Leadership Provide strategic leadership for the Citys information management, governance, and business intelligence functions, ensuring information is managed as a valuable corporate asset. Information Governance & Compliance Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks that support legislative compliance, transparency, and responsible information management. Data & Business Intelligence Capability Strengthen enterprise data, analytics and reporting capability to enable evidence-based decision making across the organisation. Records & Information Management Programs Provide executive sponsorship for major records and information management initiatives and ensure governance requirements are embedded across systems and transformation programs. Strategic Advisory Provide authoritative advice to the Executive Leadership Team and Council on complex information governance, compliance and organisational risk matters. People Leadership Lead and develop a team of senior managers and specialist professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence and continuous improvement. About You You are a strategic and influential leader who understands the critical role information governance and data play in a complex organisation. You Bring Significant senior leadership experience overseeing information management, governance, data or business intelligence functions within a large and complex organisation; Strong knowledge of information governance, compliance frameworks and relevant legislation; Proven ability to lead enterprise-wide transformation and organisational capability uplift; Highly developed strategic, conceptual and analytical capability; and Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence executive decision-making. You will also hold relevant tertiary qualifications in information management, governance, business, law or a related discipline, or demonstrate equivalent executive experience.
