Candidates may nominate their preferred state during the application process. Depending on business requirements and the successful applicants experience, one representative may focus on a single state, or an experienced candidate may service both regions with interstate travel as required.Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role is primarily focused on generating new business opportunities, securing new accounts, and expanding NLTs presence within the mining and tunnelling sectors, while also supporting existing customers where required.More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Conducting regular visits to customer sites to generate new leads and strengthen industry presenceDeveloping new customers within your designated area of responsibilityIdentifying sales opportunities and progressing them through to order placementResponding to inbound enquiries and preparing quotations, pricing, and product informationCompiling tenders and supporting proposal submissionsRepresenting the organisation at Trade Shows, Expos, and ConferencesSupporting project coordination and assisting with accounts receivable within your customer baseMaintaining accurate reporting and communication with management regarding pipeline activityThis is a fieldbased role requiring regular travel to mine sites and customer locations within your allocated territory.More About YouTo qualify for this role, you will ideally have a technical background (Network & IT). Mining industry experience, particularly a demonstrated understanding of WiFi and communication techniques used in this sector, will be held in high regard.Previous Sales or Business Development experience, particularly involving new client acquisition, will be held in high regard.The following skills and experience will be strong assets:You work well in a team and value collaborationEffective virtual communication skills are essential as our team, stakeholders, and clients are located across the globeYou are a selfstarter who can make a meaningful impact from their first dayYou excel in customer serviceYou are motivated and eager to learnAs our ideal candidate, you will be commercially driven and confident in engaging with decisionmakers across operational and technical environments.
