What The Role Is About Zenith Energy is looking for an experienced Purchasing Officer to join our dedicated team at the Head Office in Rivervale. If you thrive in a fastpaced environment and enjoy variety, problemsolving, and ensuring the company runs smoothly and efficiently, this role is for you. In this position, you will work with reputable vendors, manage stakeholder expectations, and remain flexible when lastminute requests and changes occur. Reporting to our Executive Commercial, Contracts and Procurement, the permanent fulltime role is on a 5:2 roster. What You Will Be Doing Create purchase orders under supervision. Assist in obtaining quotes from suppliers. Follow up on orders to ensure timely delivery. Goods receipt orders for goods and services. Maintain records and documentation for purchase orders. Communicate with suppliers regarding order statuses and deliveries. Escalate issues, such as delays or incorrect items, to senior team members. Help keep supplier contact information up to date. Assist the Procurement Administrator and the wider Commercial Team with tasks as advised from time to time. What We Need From You Previous purchasing experience Excellent verbal communication. Organised and resourceful. Customerfocused. Adept at prioritising, scheduling and multitasking. Strong Interpersonal skills with a personable yet professional approach. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and some experience with pronto would be beneficial Whats In It for You?
