Lead Electrical Engineers; Commissioning Africa Projects; ECG Engineering Multiple minerals and metals projects across Africa FIFO break to wherever you like Specialized electrical consultancy, with a global array of projects ECG Engineering are leaders in the Electrical Engineering space, delivering design and project delivery services to the Mining, Utilities, Materials Handling and Industrial sectors with extensive and proven capabilities in Australia, and around the world. We require Lead Electrical Engineers to work with our Commissioning crews on a range of minerals and metals projects in Africa. These are projects ECG has been driving from study phase that are now going into final construction/commissioning and handover. Key Requirements Have a solid understanding of technical (E, I&C) principals relating to the large industrial & complex operational assets that our clients own and operate. Relevant Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification Experience coordinating / driving specialized electrical commissioning teams on greenfield wet plant mineral processing projects with complex electrical / control systems scope Major project experience throughout the design / construction / commissioning cycle Understand the project development / commissioning / handover process for juniors/mid-tier miners in remote location; ideally Africa. The role will be FIFO Australia to Africa on a 6-2 roster, working with an established project and engineering team in Perth and our site electrical crews. To be considered for the role of either Lead Electrical Engineer - Commissioning, you need solid commissioning experience on complex high value electrical projects in remote location. While the projects duration is 3-5 months, ECG Engineering hires for the long term, not for projects. As these projects transform into operational plant, you may have the option to move onto a range of ECG''s other ongoing projects in the minerals and metals space in our Perth or Brisbane office.
